15 Tips to Make your Pc Very Fast and Smooth

Hi Guys, Wanna make your PC run faster and smoother?  These are some small tips which make great impact on the performance of your computer. Everybody wants a PC which runs the way we want. A newly bought computer just impresses you, with its fast interface, quick reactions, negligible garbage, in short just like what a new computer should.

But after using your computer for about a year or so, like me, you would also face some minor problems with your computer performance e.g. takes more time to boot up, hangs up very frequently, you see a large cluster of useless icons on your desktop, applications run slower, some even refuse to run. Innumerable problems are faced by all of us.
Now all of us won’t buy a new computer just for this reason, so what would you do? Format your hard disk? Probably, but who wants to lose precious data? There are many small things that PC users, don’t know about........
I am going to tell you, what I do to my own PC, to achieve the performance level I want from it. This doesn’t require much effort to follow these simple tips, nor do they require much time, but surely they increase our PC performance, your PC would surely run smoother and faster.

Make Your Computer  Like Running Horse By These Easy Tips :-

  1. First of all, don’t ever fill your desktop with shortcut icons or data folders or files. Keep your desktop as clean as possible. If possible, don’t place shortcut of applications on your desktop, just run them from the start menu. This would vastly speed up your startup process.
  2. Keep your C: drive; or whichever partition your OS is installed to, as clean and defragmented as possible. I personally prefer not to install most of the programs on my C: drive. Because this is the drive where your important OS files are present, and whatever space is left on the drive is used as virtual memory, so less the garbage on your OS drive, faster your computer would run.
  3. Use least visual enhancements on your desktop. That means, to reduce the use of desktop gadgets, which takes loads of memory usage. Also using a simple theme is best. Animated desktop themes, screensavers or wallpapers obviously take more memory usage from your hands. So keeping it simple makes the difference. If you want more smoothness, Keep your Desktop Blank.
  4. If you are regular internet user, then consider using the “Clear Cache” function of your browser, to clear temporary offline data saved by the browser – this clears up some considerate amount of temporary data. Also regularly clear browser history and cookies.
  5. Update your antivirus regularly, preferably every two or three days. Worms and malwares are a very common reason due to which your computer runs slower than usual, that is because worms duplicate themselves and fill your disk with useless, corrupt data and also occupies a large amount of your available memory.
  6. Make it a habit to clear %temp%, %tmp% and temp folders of your PC every day. They contain temporary files which you can freely delete to gain some small but considerable amount of disk space. You can Find these folders in simple steps, Go to Run, Type %temp% click on ok than clear all files/folders of that Folder.
  7. Use Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup on a regular basis.
  8. Use Gboost software to make your pc run fast and use
  9. After installing any program, they take up some space on your disk, also on your registry. I suggest not installing any program which you consider ‘use and throw’ because even after uninstalling them, some of their remains still linger on your PC, which also affects your PC performance.
  10. Regularly delete all the contents of your ‘Recent’ folder. This folder contains shortcut to your recently used documents and programs. These shortcuts are just useless garbage which you should clear on daily basis.
  11. To speed up the boot time, disable any useless startup programs from MSConfig utility.
  12. Delete contents of your recycle bin to gain some more disk space.
  13. TeraCopy is one of the best programs to speed up file copying. I personally prefer using this program.
  14. Using external DNS servers such as OpenDNS, boosts your internet speed up to some extent.
  15. Select “Adjust for best performance” setting on the Performance tab in System Properties. Go To My Computer settings click on Advance System Settings Tab, Than go to performance settings in Advanced tab, tick on Adjust for Best Performance. This will give you much Speed.
These are some small tips which I prefer following and I know the results. If you are completely fed up with your PC performance, then you should try reformatting your hard disk partition. That would surely do it. But if you just want to continue with your PC for a long time, then from the very beginning, follow these steps regularly and you’ll see the impact of these minor steps in a major way.

Thank You.

Top 5 Android Action Games

When people think of computer games, what they usually think of are the popular first-person shooters like Call of Duty  or others of its ilk. Action games are the big sellers in the market, mostly because of their simple, straightforward controls and easy-to-understand back-stories. The Android OS may not exactly be the ideal gaming platform, but it does have its share of these games. Here’s a look at some of the best action games available for Android devices, sure to get players hearts pounding and adrenaline pulsing.

1) Grand Theft Auto III

The game that brought open-world gaming into the mainstream and launched Rockstar Games into the stratosphere, Grand Theft Auto III on Android is a treat. The 10th Anniversary edition delivers all the punch of the original, while updating it all for modern sensibilities. None of that low-polygon count stuff going on here – updated graphics, both of character and vehicle models have been included. It even has HD quality resolution. Combine that with a great storyline and open-ended interaction with the denizens of Liberty City and the result is game that will tempt you to punch out people on the street and jack their cars whenever you’re late for a meeting.

2) Age of Zombies

Zombies are the monster du jour. Name any gaming platform and it’s sure to have a zombie game or two. However, most of these are depressing survival fests that go for the horror side of the genre. Well, Age of Zombies is definitely not one of those games. Playing as Barry Steakfries, players step into a time-travelling commando’s shoes and kill zombies all across the space-time continuum in a laugh-out-loud storyline. Shooting zombies has never been so fun – shooting zombie dinosaurs being a hundred times fun than normal. Main downsides for this game are that it’s short and has trouble running on the Samsung Galaxy. Halfbrick has definitely delivered the goods with this follow-up to Monster Dash and Fruit Ninja.

3) Sleepy Jack

The first impression that Sleepy Jack delivers is that the graphics are awesome. A tube shooter, the game propels its players into a tube and gives them a demented roller-coaster ride either aiming to shoot at things or to fulfill the level’s objectives. As explorers of Jack’s psychedelic 3D dreamscape, it can be bit overwhelming at first. But the simple controls and frenetic gameplay help a lot in delivering a dreamlike experience. Forty levels and additional updates also prevent Sleepy Jack from getting really old – maintaining its replay value.
4) Grabatron

Alien invaders have been a setpiece enemy of video games for years now. How about switching that formula around? In Grabatron, players are in control of an UFO as it abducts things, people, and animals all over the landscape. Armed not with death rays but a single retractable claw, this will constitute quite a challenge. The claw can be used to pick up objects and toss them around as improvised weapons – weapons that will be needed because those dastardly humans will be out there with their guns and tanks. Packed with over 30 missions of alien-abducting fun, Grabatron is a definite treat for any gamer.
5) Windup Knight

Running games are a pretty new genre. Essentially, players control a continually running character hoping to avoid their doom. There’s no going back, just going forward. Robot Invader’s Windup Knight is currently the pinnacle of running games. Ordinarily players only have a single button to think about in running games, but with jump, slash, roll, and other moves, this game takes the running game to the next level. Add to that fifty levels of challenging gameplay and challenges, this game is definitely something to waste your time on.

   Shadowgun

A very beautiful looking game, the third-person shooter Shadowgun delivers Gears of War style gameplay and graphics to the Android platform. Matching visuals usually found on consoles, this game is gorgeous. But it isn’t just another pretty face – there’s a pretty solid action game underneath all that flash. Smart enemy Al also gives players a challenge that won’t just roll over and die. This is a definite step-up from the current crop and an original franchise for the Android platform itself. Hopefully, we’ll see more games like this soon.

According password management company SplashData, the top three passwords of the year are "password," "123456," and "12345678." The company's list of the "25 worst passwords of the year" was compiled using data that hackers have posted online, which are said to be stolen passwords.

How can consumer protect themselves? SplashData suggests these tips for making more secure passwords:

1.) Use passwords of eight characters or more with mixed types of characters. One way to create longer, more secure passwords that are easy to remember is to use short words with spaces or other characters separating them. For example, "eat cake at 8!" or "car_park_city?"

What is GodMode in Windows 7 ? How to Enable it ?

Here’s a neat Windows 7 trick that’s been doing the rounds on the Internet. It Enables “GodMode” a term devised by the Microsoft development team, which provides a single place to access all Windows settings without needing to browse options and folders in the Control Panel.

I've broken it down into five-step process to avoid confusion:

Step 1: Right click on Desktop.

    Step 2: Click create folder.

Step 3: Name your new folder as, "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" and press enter.

Step 4: Now, Your folder must look like This.

The window shows nearly 50 sections with quick links to configuration options. Strictly speaking, it’s not a God Mode since all the options are available elsewhere. It’s more akin to an “all tasks” list — but you may find it easier than stumbling through Windows numerous screens and panels.

    Big Red Warning !
The trick appears to work on both the 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 7. Vista 32-bit and Windows Server 2008 32-bit should also work. However, it is known to crash 64-bit versions of Vista — and you may need to boot in safe mode or to the command line to delete the folder.

    Thank You.
